LAW ENFORCEMENT
We have been teaching defensive tactics to U.S. law enforcement agencies at the local, state, and federal levels since 1985. Krav Maga Worldwides’s law enforcement program is specifically designed for the needs of law enforcement. The program is constantly updated in consolation with use-of-force experts (including district attorneys, police liability defense lawyers, police administrators, and defensive tactics instructors) to provide real world effectiveness and defensible applications of reasonable force.
Our instructional staff consists of currently sworn law enforcement officers. Our approach is simple “stop the problem and take safe control as quickly as possible.” Officer safety is paramount – before, during and after a confrontation. We deal with compliant, resistive, assaultive/high risk and life threatening situations.
Krav Maga Worldwide has been directly responsible for providing training to over 500 law enforcement agencies in the United States.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Krav Maga is not another defensive tactics system based on traditional martial arts, nor is it a laundry list of techniques from diverse systems.
It is a modern, reality-based method of training characterized by coherent and logical thinking that builds up easy, practical techniques featuring simple, natural movements of the human body.
Because the Krav Maga system is well-integrated, common defensive principles apply to a variety of attack scenarios. This reduces the number of techniques an operator must learn, decreases training time, and increases retention under stress. According to personnel who have undergone Krav Maga Worldwide’s training, the most important and striking characteristics of the system are:

MILITARY
The Krav Maga Worldwide System was originally created for the Israeli Defense Force and is uniquely suited to the needs of military
personnel. The simple, effective, and aggressive techniques require minimal training time and deliver maximum retention, especially under stress. The integrated nature of the system allows for smooth transition from hot weapons to cold weapons and hand-to-hand, and then back to hot weapons. Krav Maga features both defensive and offensive techniques.
The Krav Maga Worldwide System deals with scenarios where, for any number of reasons, operators face life threatening situations when they are unarmed or in which higher force options cannot immediately be accessed. From this perspective, the operator must respond with sound, aggressive, unarmed defensive techniques and combatives until a transition to a higher force option can be achieved or acquired.
Krav Maga is well integrated, meaning that similar defensive principles apply to a variety of hostile situations. Therefore, the system can be learned in a relatively short period of instruction. The system is designed to be able to train large numbers of personnel at one time. The techniques are easy to retain with minimal review and can be performed under extreme stress. The Krav Maga System has been overwhelmingly praised by defensive tactics instructors from federal, state and local law enforcement from special units of the military.
Krav Maga Worldwide has unique experience preparing operators for work in hostile environments and has received recognition for exceptional service, professionalism, performance and commitment to mission accomplishment. We are the official trainers for a number of elite units and have directly contributed to the mobilization and deployment of personnel in support of operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo-Bosnia, Kuwait and the Sinai.
